AccuBreed™ transmitters securely adhere to cows with specially designed Intact™ PEEL-N-STICK Self-Adhesive Envelopes that are made to handle heavy wear, tear and weather. Following the simple assembly and application processes allow Intact™ Envelopes to withstand impact from mounting activity and weather events for the duration of the transmitter battery life (an average of 4 months).
Intact™ Envelope Assembly:
- Center a charged transmitter with the button-side up on a longer self-adhesive sheet
- Place a protective plastic cup over the top of the transmitter.
- Remove the backing from a secondary self-adhesive sheet with rectangle cutout.
- Place the secondary sheet over the transmitter and cup, then press down along the sides.
Intact™ Envelope Application:
- Brush thoroughly to remove dirt, dust and shedding hair. Do not use a steel bristle or other stiff combs.
- Use an AccuBreed™ Cloud Cleaning Cloth to completely remove any remaining dirt or dust.
- Remove the backing of the assembled Intact™ Envelope and press down firmly on the application site.
- Check applied Intact™ Envelopes for continued adhesion every 10-15 days.
